The I booked was out of order, though they did not inform me of this at check-in. I was put in another room next to their 'presidential suite' which the owners apparently live in. I couldn't find the room to begin with because there were no room numbers. I was woken up at 3 am to raised voices and moving furniture. The toilet in my room did not flush. The state of the tub made me afraid to even shower. There was no phone in the room. I was on the second floor, the window opened all the way and there was no screen, making it very easy for a child to fall out. There was hair on the sheets, visible hair. As well as stains and hair on the carpet. They advertise room renovations but the room I was in looked as though it was the one out of order. When I voiced my concerns to the front desk, they were very dismissive and did not care to listen to what I had to say. The next time I am in Granbury, I will be staying at the Comfort Suites across the street.
Most of the reviews I read I was skeptical about it but didn't have much money. Got there and was greeted like he knew me. Room was perfect. I really had no issues. I did smell something in the hallway but it was probably Curry as the family that own the hotel were sitting down to eat. The reviews I saw were picky people. They expect a $150 hotel for $60 or probably free as they think they deserve it. Wish those people owned a house or business to know it takes time. Would like to see where they work or live. The hotel was fine. Stay was great. I would for sure stay again.
Nice sized room. Microwave and fridge in room. Two HBOs and basic channels. Hot breakfast with sausage and eggs, waffles, and the usual motel breakfast items. Hot water and clean sheets.
The hotel was very quiet. The staff greeted us so warmly and kindly. I have kids and they offered to help my husband and I carry our things. The breakfast was great as well! They have cute little Texas shaped waffles. The beds were so comfy I felt like I was floating in air. It was the most pleasant overall experience Iv had in a hotel and the price is unbeatable!
The rooms were older but well kept. The cable TV buzzed and this unable to watch without annoyance. Beds were clean and suitable but just standard coil instead of memory top. All in all very nice and would return for a single night, business stay. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
