Best grocery store ever! Awesome selection of staples and unique products. I won't shop anywhere else!
The management there is unprofessional. As a Former employee, Due to high risk pregnancy i was forced by fresh side manager and dept manager to quit when they took me into the conference room, cornered me and told me there were no other options for me. With a baby at home and one on the way I was forced to quit for pregnancy complications. With promises from both that I would be hired back once I was ready. I'd like to add that while I was employed there someone I'm close with and I were in charge of our dept show case for a holiday walk from top leaders in the companh. The two very top leaders in the company stopped and one wrote BOTH our names on a paper and said "this is the best case I've seen so far." Well here I am 8 months later baby is out, have a daycare to watch my boys during the day and I'm ready so I applied online with high hopes the managers promises with hold water and i was denied the position via a very vague company email with NO explanation. Since then, the fresh side manager had made a inappropriate comment to a active employed member of the dept i applied for based on this persons physical image In front of their peers. This persons peers that witnessed offered to help this person file a formal sexual harassment complaint as their witness... It was inappropriate and made this partner cry. I avoided this manager (while as a customer only not an employee) because this partner is close to me now am being denied a position I have 7 years experience doing over all other applicants, based on a sexually harassing inappropriate comment one manager made to someone I know in the dept i applied for. This is not right at all and I will be taking further action.
Great grocery store. Always busy. Some of the prices of things are a bit higher than I would like to pay. Going to HEB to get the "basic" food items can cost over $100, so if you're on a budget I suggest going to ALDI. Good selection for meats, pastries, bakery, and deli. If you go there during the middle of the week, you'll usually get better deals and/or discounts on items. Friendly staff and the store remains clean despite all the traffic.
It is new staff is friendly and knowledge. I love like 45 minutes away and want to visit again because of the prices and great loom of the store.
This grocery store has some of the best employees ever. I have used the bakery and the deli and placed very detailed orders as well as some last minute orders. It doesn't matter they are friendly and they do excellent work. The store is great but the employees here make it the reason I like going here to shop.
