They give you reward cash for shopping there which is not unique to Bealls. However what is unique to Bealls is if you have to return anything you purchased with reward cash, then you don't get the reward cash back. When I asked the manager why I was losing my reward cash, her response was it was a gift so once I use it, it's gone even if I have to return the item. Also, if they didn't leave signs up in the store for expired rebates, I would have never made the purchase and I wouldn't have lost my $20 reward cash. The good news though is while I had intended on finishing my Christmas shopping at Bealls, I was so upset with being ripped off I left without doing any shopping and went to Kohls instead where I spent $380 and got some fantastic deals. Meanwhile I imagine the store management could care less about losing $380 and a customer to Kohls because after all they got to keep my $20 reward cash.
Clerk was totally unavailable. I went to makeup counter and told them and she called for one. A girl with no badge came up but another customer told me where to find the women's sizes.
I haven't stopped at a Bealls in years, but my wife and I had to buy outfits for my grandmother's funeral. We were away from home and very upset, the customer service was fantastic. They helped us both get what we needed and they even gave us 20% off of our purchase witch was very helpful. I appreciate everything they did for us in such a sad moment in our life.
I use to work here. If corporate would allow them to take better care of their staff coverage/scheduling and their staff the customers would be much happier and so would the staff. That being said it is newly remodeled and clean and organized most of the time. Their is a great selection of cosmetics from Elizabeth Arden to Clinique, Estee Lauder and Smash Box to appeal to young and old alike.
